What this site does with information: privacy, cookies, advertising and the web tools.
What this site does
This site presents the apps, web tools and guides of ML Music Studio. There is no sign-up, no login, and no form for visitors to submit information. So the site does not collect names or contact details through any form of its own.
It also does not use an analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) to gather visit statistics. The advertising service described below, however, may collect information on its own.
Inquiries are made through the KakaoTalk open chat or by email, and those services handle what you send.
This site is served from GitHub Pages, and the hosting provider may keep access logs (such as IP addresses).
Advertising and cookies
Most pages on this site include the Google AdSense advertising script. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
You can turn off or manage personalized ads with the links below. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then behave differently than you expect.
The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so when a page opens your browser also connects to Google servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com).

Web tools
Web tools such as the RTA, ear trainer, generator, calculators and quiz run inside your browser. Their code has no feature that sends sound or what you enter to a server.
The RTA asks your browser for permission to use the microphone for live measurement. You decide in the browser and can change it at any time. The sound is only analyzed inside the browser; the site does not record, store or transmit it.
Music files you pick yourself in the ear trainer are also opened only inside your browser and are not uploaded to the site.
For convenience, some pages (the web tools and the policy pages) save your chosen language (siteLang) in the browser's localStorage, and the RTA also saves its calibration value. These values stay in the browser on your device and are removed when you clear the browser's site data.
The online timer and metronome work the same way: they keep their settings and progress (alarm sound and volume, BPM and time signature, the end time of a running timer and similar) only in the localStorage of the browser on this device. These values are never sent to a server and are removed when you clear the browser's site data.
When you contact us
- Inquiries are accepted through the KakaoTalk open chat or by email. Nothing on this site stores your message separately.
- When you write to us, the site owner receives your email address or KakaoTalk display name and the content of your message.
- We read what you send only to answer your inquiry.
- Your messages and account details are handled by KakaoTalk and your email service under their own policies.
